About Renee
Renee Blundon is one of the top freedivers in the US, with national records in both depth and pool, including one set in DYN at our local Bay Area competition last year. She is a freediving Instructor Trainer and, before being posted to California and Las Vegas with the US Air Force, spent eight years in Dahab training and coaching hundreds of students at the highest level. She is an expert in explaining complex topics like equalization clearly, and helping people work through what is blocking them.
Schedule
Day 1 - Saturday March 1
- 7:30 - Theory session: Mouthfill and FRC
- 9:00 - Lakeside stretching session (with Uddiyana Bandha)
- 10:00 - Lake diving session (Mouthfill, FRC and Deep Diving)
- 13:00 - Lunch
- 14:00 - Video analysis session
- 15:00 - Theory session: Reverse packing
- 18:00 - BBQ at the lake
Day 2 - Sunday March 2
- 7:30 - Theory session: constant pressure Mouthfill and RV diving
- 8:30 - Packing demo and practice
- 9:00 - Lakeside stretching session
- 10:00 - Lake diving session (Exhale diving, Mouthfill, VWT and Deep Diving PBs)
- 13:00 - Lunch
- 14:00 - Video analysis session
- 15:00 - Q&A session
- 16:00 - Finish

Bring
- Your freediving gear (recommended wetsuit thickness: 7mm)
- Pen, paper and/or laptop
- Food & drink for the daytime
- Sunscreen and closed-toed shoes for the walk down to the lake
Where to stay
A number of people (including Renee) will be staying in the Pleasure Cove campground on Saturday night - contact her directly if you'd like to be part of the group. Otherwise the best and most affordable hotel nearby is the Marriott Inn and Suites in Winters, 15 minutes drive east of the lake.
